ABOUT
Brief
NETA Auto Ampang is a flagship showroom for an emerging EV brand in Malaysia, designed to merge digital innovation with real-world customer experience. The concept revolves around a central axis display area flanked by key functions — test drive reception, handover bays, lifestyle display, after-sales service, and a café lounge — creating a seamless journey from interest to ownership.
The façade features a clean modular layout with full-height glass panels to emphasize transparency, while the interior combines warm wood textures and ambient lighting to soften the typical cold, mechanical feel of traditional showrooms.

Challenge
The main challenge was to integrate digital-forward branding into a conventional automotive program without compromising flow or functionality. Space allocation was tight, especially for the EV charging bay, service workshop, and dual-sided lounge area. Each zone required precision in lighting, material balance, and layout planning to avoid congestion while still delivering a premium experience. Additionally, the outdoor café area needed to address heat and sunlight exposure while maintaining comfort, greenery, and brand visibility for customers waiting on service appointments.
